Carboweave® CW 39 can be used for the manufacture of wings glider models clases F3J, F5J, F3F, F3K, F1A, F1B, F1C. Also can be used to manufacture any parts of RC / DLG glider / aircraft / sailplane models/free flight models.
UMS40 carbon fabrics, compared to IMS65 fabrics, allow you to create more rigid structures and parts.
This bi-axial NCF has 2 unidirectional plies laid at an angle of ± 45° which are bonded with an epoxy-compatible binder to each other. Durability is improved compared to conventional NCF with plastic-scrim. Due to marginal undulation there is a better utilization of the fiber´s properties. Particular advantage: torsional layers could be done without off cut.

This type of carbon fabric often can be used for the manufacture glider models of classes F3J, F5J, F3F, F3K, F1A, F1B, F1C, RC / DLG glider / aircraft / sailplane models/ free flight models/control line models, unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV, drone). Manufacture of heavy-duty fishing rods, tubes and similar structures, sports equipment and model construction.
We are offer our customers the next generation of ultra lightweight carbon fabrics, which show a difference in quality through their appearance quite clearly. The fiber distribution is much more homogeneous, thus the fabric itself does not incorporate clusters of fibers or holes. The fiber orientation –this is the even more important criteria– is absolutely straight and virtually free of undulation. Furthermore an improved surface quality is achieved in comparison to its predeceasing material.
Tensile strength = 4700 MPa, tensile modulus = 390 GPa, elongation at break = 1,2 %. The high modulus fiber Toho Tenax® UMS is a carbon fiber for meeting the requirements of extra stiffness (elastic stiffness). Exceptional characteristics of this material are especially suitable for constructions for space applications, such as satellite constructions, antennas, shafts and rollers. Properties of TohoTenax® UMS fully meet the requirements of sports goods (fishing rods, boat masts, radio controlled models, ski sticks, etc.)
